(a) Please furnish a summary of the laws or regulations

in force with reference to Articles 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5,

respectively, of the International Opium Convention mentioning

their titles and the dates on which they came into force.

(b) Please annex ten copies of the respective texts of

these laws or regulations.

Please give a general account of the administration and working of these laws or regulations and their effectiveness

in achieving their object.

Please make a statistical statement as to the area under poppy cultivation (in hectares or aaros) for 1920 and for each of the preceding ten years, or give the quantity produced in kilos or pounds, if the acreage figures are not available.

Preferably both sets of figwes should be given.

Please give a brief description of the manner in which the opium produced is disposed of both as regards internal

consumption and export.
